Renewable Energy Program
Enerwise, as part of its renewable products and services initiative, has worked with the state of Pennsylvania over the past year to identify technologies and related product and system solutions for measuring and tracking renewable assets and their outputs. Enerwise also collaborated with several state DEP executives and politicians to influence and shape the implementation of the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act. The result of these initiatives for Enerwise and its wholly owned subsidiary Clean Power Markets, Inc. was to be awarded administrator of the Pennsylvania AEPS in April 2007. Please see press release at: http://www.enerwise.com/release_04102007.php?year=2007.
Enerwise is also an active member of the Demand Management & Energy Efficiency as well as the Net-Metering & Interconnection subcommittees tasked with implementing Senate Bill 1030. Through its active participation in the Mid-Atlantic Distributed Resources Initiative (MADRI), Enerwise is able to influence and keep its customers abreast of metering and interconnection requirements as they develop.
Enerwise has distinguished itself with a very unique and comprehensive perspective of the local energy market and has created complimentary services, software and hardware products to meet Demand Management and Renewable Programs needs. Presently, the Enerwise Energy Manager platform and related services have been presented to the state commissions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington DC in an ongoing effort to assist in their development of energy accounting and documentation standards. Enerwise is well-positioned to provide these states the Enerwise Energy manager platform as a Renewable Energy Credit tracking platform of choice or should the company be asked to act in the role of Aggregator to a third party system such as the PJM Generator Attributes Tracking System (GATS).
The Enerwise Energy Manager 3.0 application software suite provides all of the information tools necessary to catalogue emissions, energy consumption, and related descriptive asset tracking data required for state reporting and electronic Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) creation. As part of its service portfolio, Enerwise will leverage its familiarity and work in Compliance and Voluntary Renewable Programs markets, to assist the customer and/or their agent in extracting optimum value from RECs obtained.
